The VitD-UFs Study at the University of Botswana is looking for an experienced Research Assistant with a keen interest in women’s health research to join our team.
Project Title: Investigation of Vitamin D Deficiency among Women with Uterine Fibroids in Botswana (VitD-UFs)
The successful candidate is expected to:
(i) Carry out participant recruitment and follow-up
(ii) Carry out data collection and support data management
(iii) Perform blood draws and transport them to the lab for analysis
(iv) Offer administrative support to the research coordinator
(v) Assist with other duties as assigned
The applicant should have:
(i) Degree in Biomedical Sciences field
(ii) Certification in phlebotomy/blood draws (optional if degree is in a clinical health profession)
(iii) A minimum of 1 year post-qualification experience
Added Advantage:
Formal training in research and experience conducting research related to health services
The research study offers a remuneration package in accordance with University of Botswana regulations.
