Working field:
- Participation in research and knowledge transfer of the chair of construction operation and construction industry, especially in the areas of innovative procurement models and the settlement of the Project models (including IPA and alliance models), construction contract management, and digital technologies for the construction industry.
- Processing of subject-specific and transdisciplinary tasks; participation in the acquisition of third-party funding for the realization of research projects
- Publication of research results
- Participation in teaching, supervision of courses as well as student research projects and theses
- Participation in the further development of the subject-specific teaching program
Requirements:
- successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in civil engineering or industrial engineering (construction)
- in-depth knowledge of construction economics and construction management as well as construction project management
- Interest in interdisciplinary scientific work in the fields of civil engineering and related engineering, law and economics
- fluent command of the German language, excellent verbal and written communication skills
- high communicative competence and team orientation
- confident command of the relevant IT and EDP applications
- independent scientific working style
Desirable Requirements:
- in-depth knowledge of the German construction industry or the German construction market
- in-depth knowledge of German construction contract and public procurement law
- Experience in procurement or project management of construction projects or in construction management
- experience in the application of digital technologies in the construction industry
- very good knowledge of written and spoken English
- in-depth knowledge of statistical methods and corresponding IT applications
