Work­ing field:

  • Par­ti­cip­a­tion in research and know­ledge trans­fer of the chair of con­struc­tion oper­a­tion and con­struc­tion industry, espe­cially in the areas of innov­at­ive pro­cure­ment mod­els and the set­tle­ment of the Pro­ject mod­els (includ­ing IPA and alli­ance mod­els), con­struc­tion con­tract man­age­ment, and digital tech­no­lo­gies for the con­struc­tion industry.
  • Pro­cessing of sub­ject-spe­cific and trans­dis­cip­lin­ary tasks; par­ti­cip­a­tion in the acquis­i­tion of third-party fund­ing for the real­iz­a­tion of research pro­jects
  • Pub­lic­a­tion of research res­ults
  • Par­ti­cip­a­tion in teach­ing, super­vi­sion of courses as well as stu­dent research pro­jects and theses
  • Par­ti­cip­a­tion in the fur­ther devel­op­ment of the sub­ject-spe­cific teach­ing pro­gram

Require­ments:

  • suc­cess­fully com­pleted uni­versity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or equi­val­ent) in civil engin­eer­ing or indus­trial engin­eer­ing (con­struc­tion)
  • in-depth know­ledge of con­struc­tion eco­nom­ics and con­struc­tion man­age­ment as well as con­struc­tion pro­ject man­age­ment
  • Interest in inter­dis­cip­lin­ary sci­entific work in the fields of civil engin­eer­ing and related engin­eer­ing, law and eco­nom­ics
  • flu­ent com­mand of the Ger­man lan­guage, excel­lent verbal and writ­ten com­mu­nic­a­tion skills
  • high com­mu­nic­at­ive com­pet­ence and team ori­ent­a­tion
  • con­fid­ent com­mand of the rel­ev­ant IT and EDP applic­a­tions
  • inde­pend­ent sci­entific work­ing style
Desir­able Require­ments:
  • in-depth know­ledge of the Ger­man con­struc­tion industry or the Ger­man con­struc­tion mar­ket
  • in-depth know­ledge of Ger­man con­struc­tion con­tract and pub­lic pro­cure­ment law
  • Exper­i­ence in pro­cure­ment or pro­ject man­age­ment of con­struc­tion pro­jects or in con­struc­tion man­age­ment
  • exper­i­ence in the applic­a­tion of digital tech­no­lo­gies in the con­struc­tion industry
  • very good know­ledge of writ­ten and spoken Eng­lish
  • in-depth know­ledge of stat­ist­ical meth­ods and cor­res­pond­ing IT applic­a­tions
