The ERC-funded project ‘PACT: Populism and Conspiracy Theory’ is hiring a 

Research Assistant (m/f/d)

to a postdoc researcher of the project.

The successful candidate will assist the postdoc researcher with the subproject on Italy. A C1 level in Italian and a decent command of English are required for the position. The successful candidate will have strong organizational skills, as well as an interest in, and familiarity with, social media platforms. Both undergraduate and graduate students at the University of Tübingen are invited to apply.

The initial contract will run for 6 months, after which the period may be extended. The research assistant will be employed for 30 hours per month, starting in August 2022.

Tasks include:

• searching for relevant primary and secondary sources;
• summarizing press articles and reports;
• closely monitoring social media activities;
• assist in the organization of academic events, such as research seminars.
