Research Assistant II in the Department of Microbiology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 515057) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above in Biomedical Sciences, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Clinical Medicine or equivalent, with at least 2 years’ experience and extensive knowledge in biomedical sciences. They should have relevant track record in conducting and/or handling projects related to infectious diseases research. They should also have a strong sense of responsibility, good organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and work independently as well as in a team. The appointee will be involved in research projects related to emerging infectious diseases under the supervision of Dr. Jasper F.W. Chan.
