Research Assistant I/II (several posts) in the Neural Engineering Laboratory of the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (Ref.: 498568) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal)


Applicants should possess a good Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, electrical and electronic engineering, software engineering, biomaterials engineering, or mechatronic engineering. Knowledge of mechanical design, and competence in biomedical signal, image processing and data mining are required. Preference will be given to those who plan to pursue postgraduate studies. The appointees will work on translational and tradable medical engineering. They will design mechanical structure of rehabilitation robots. They will also assist in the development of mechanical components with 3D printer, program development, and research and development of electronic circuits and instruments for medical devices.  Those who have responded to the previous advertisement (Ref: 495867) need not re-apply.
