Our research group at the academic chair of Prof. Dr. Dr. Kerstin Noëlle Vokinger is a team with expertise in the disciplines of medicine, law, economics, public policy, statistics, and data science. We are affiliated at the ETH Zurich (Department of Health Sciences and Technology) and the University of Zurich (Faculty of Law). We focus on interdisciplinary research projects at the intersection of medicine, technology, and policy. Our research studies have been published in leading journals of medicine and science (e.g., Lancet, Lancet Oncology, Lancet Digital Health, BMJ, JAMA, Annals of Internal Medicine, JAMA Oncology, JAMA Internal Medicine, Nature Medicine, Nature Machine Intelligence, Nature Reviews Clinical Oncology). We are also advising governments and international organizations in our areas of expertise. Per mid January 2025 or upon agreement, we are looking for a Research Assistant to work on interdisciplinary research projects.

Profile

  • Undergraduate degree (Bachelor) in Pharmaceutical Sciences or Health Sciences and Technology
  • Very good understanding of drugs
  • Basic knowledge in statistics
  • Broad interest in the application of interdisciplinary research and quantitative methods in medicine, health policy and law
  • Good written and oral knowledge of English
  • Ideally knowledge of German
  • Motivated, independent and thorough working attitude, good time management
  • Interested in conducting a PhD at our academic chair after completion of Master studies
