Research Assistant/Associate in Applied Social Science

University of Cambridge Department of Public Health and Primary Care

The Applied Social Science Group within the Primary Care Unit are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated research assistant/associate to a project that explores the mental health treatment provided to young people with experiences of maltreatment or other safeguarding needs.

We are looking for someone capable of working responsively to research needs and opportunities as they arise, and with a desire to influence policy for children and families through research.

The successful candidate will join a friendly and supportive team, led by Dr Robbie Duschinsky. The postholder will be well supported in their professional development, with opportunities for developing skills and knowledge. The Investigators will work with the postholder to develop a bespoke training and development plan that will focus on the skills and experience they need to make the most of the opportunities afforded by the project and to progress their career. The postholder will also be supported to apply for funding and opportunities relevant to their future career development.
