£27511 to £30942 per annum, (pro rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience (£30942 with relevant PhD).

The role holder will have the opportunity to use their initiative and creativity to identify new areas for research, develop research methods and extend their research portfolio.

Candidates must hold a PhD or be near to completion of a PhD or equivalent in a relevant subject area and have prior experience in genetic engineering in Clostridia.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate evidence of sufficient breadth or depth of research methodologies in genetic engineering and have the ability to build relationships and collaborate with others, both internally and externally.

This is a full-time, fixed-term post and is available from 02 November 2020 or soon after until 31 May 2021. Job share arrangements may be considered.
