The Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) invites applications for a Research Associate position. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our research team. The successful candidate will support ongoing projects, assist with laboratory management, and perform a variety of biological and physiological experiments.

Conduct biological and physiological experiments in support of ongoing research projects.
Assist in laboratory management, including equipment maintenance, inventory control, and ordering supplies.
Maintain accurate experimental records and assist with data collection and analysis.
Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to ensure smooth lab operations.
Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with institutional and federal regulations.
Contribute to reports, publications, and presentations as required.
Education & Experience:
Master’s degree in Biology, Physiology, or a related field is required.
Knowledge & Skills:
Proficiency in standard biological and physiological laboratory techniques.
Familiarity with animal handling.
Experience managing laboratory operations, including inventory control and equipment maintenance.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a research team.
Full-time; standard work hours with possible variations depending on research needs.
