The department of Pharmacology and Toxicology is seeking a highly motivated Research Associate for postdoctoral training to work in a lab focusing on understanding mechanisms of toxicity and inflammation from exposures to toxic chemical agents, employing state-of-the-art molecular techniques and toxicology approaches with an ultimate goal of effectively treating injuries or diseases from toxic chemical exposures.

Doctorate -Toxicology, Molecular Biology, Immunology
Experience working with cell culture and animal studies (mostly mice, rats and rabbits helpful); Molecular biology, biochemistry and immunology/immunohistochemistry techniques (including PCR, RT-PCR, western blotting and ELISAs, tissue histopathological microscopic observations and analysis etc);
Compassion for animals involved in research; Ability to work effectively in a team environment; Proficient written, oral, and interpersonal skills; Work experience with skin and/or eye, lung tissues.
