Research Associate in Psychology and Social Science

Position Summary

The Clinical Psychophysiology Lab in the Psychology Department seeks a Research Associate in clinical psychophysiology focused on multi-method approaches – including behavior, EEG/ERP, fMRI, and peripheral physiology (e.g., startle eyeblink, heart rate, skin conductance) – to cognitive and affective mechanisms in anxiety and related psychopathology. The Research Associate will work with data from NIH-funded studies that examine associations between anxiety-related problems and cognitive-control, reward, and threat processing across the menstrual cycle and development. Research Associates are also encouraged to participate in and develop related projects in line with these themes.

Doctorate

Minimum Requirements

Doctoral degree in clinical or cognitive psychology, or neuroscience. Experience in cognitive neuroscience methods, EEG/ERP neuroimaging approaches, and related data analysis platforms.
