The purpose of this role will be to have specific responsibility for the Significant Ankle Ligament Injury Study (SALI). You will join a multi-disciplinary research team whose role is to create new knowledge that can underpin evidence-based practice for people with ankle injuries. You will be expected to plan and conduct work using approaches or methodologies and techniques appropriate to the type of research and will be responsible for writing up work for publication. You will have the opportunity to use your initiative and creativity to identify areas for research, develop research methods and extend the research portfolio. You will be managed by Dr Stefan Kluzek, whose areas of research interest include sports and exercise medicine and musculoskeletal research.
Candidates must have a PhD or equivalent in relevant subject area or the equivalent in professional qualifications and experience in this research area (Or be near to completion of a PhD).In addition, they must have Experience in use of research methodologies and techniques to work within area. This post is offered on a fixed term contract until 30th September 2021. Hours of work are part-time (29 hours).
