The Centre for Law, Medicine and Life Sciences at the University of Cambridge is seeking to appoint a Research Associate or Senior Research Associate to develop a flagship research project relevant to biomedical innovation. The role is part of an international research collaboration analysing the most significant legal challenges for pharmaceutical innovation from a cross-disciplinary perspective.

The post holder will help build a better knowledge base about the pharmaceutical industry, its interaction with legal frameworks, and implications for pharmaceutical innovation. Specifically the post holder must plan, implement and deliver a "synergy" project that investigates the regulation of bioinnovation in a cross-cutting manner.

The position requires a first degree with high marks. In addition, it requires a higher degree (eg Masters or PhD) or equivalent work experience. It is desirable, but not essential, that applicants have formal legal training. For example, applications are welcome from graduates with a background in regulatory science, health, innovation, or technology policy.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 3 years, commencing before 31 December 2019.
