We are looking for a postdoc to work on developing novel statistical techniques that will aid in improving large-scale regression, classification and other machine learning problems.

The ideal candidate would be comfortable programming in Matlab, have strong analytical skills, and have ability to learn new things.

A PhD in Mathematics / Applied Mathematics / Probability / Statistics or equivalent is required.

Additional desired skills are in C++, multivariate analysis (eg, PCA / LDA), Monte Carlo methods, functional analysis, measure / probability theory, Bayesian statistics, but there is the opportunity to learn them on the job.
