Job description:

Contribution to research as part of the interdisciplinary research project “Art Education between Heritage-Making and Critical Transregionality” under the direction of Prof. Dr. Eva Ehninger; activities and responsibilities that advance the professional qualification of the applicant; development of PhD-project in English or German


Requirements:

Completed graduate degree in a field relevant to the research project (art history, visual studies, cultural studies, museum studies, South Asian studies and South East Asian studies, or other); research interest in one or more of the following areas: concepts of aesthetic learning, education, and competence in colonial contexts; conventions of valuation for craft, applied arts, and art; histories of collecting in the period of transition from Colonialism to Independence; very good language skills in English; research or work experience in the research region is an asset
