Duties and responsibilities
  • Research in the field of development of plasma sources and their applications.
  • The development of various plasma sources for different applications and electrical and spectral characterization of these sources.
  • The application of the plasma sources for the treatment of liquids and surfaces.
  • Participation in the implementation of the research topics and projects of Laboratory of Plasma Physics in UT Institute of Physics and the publication of the results.
  • Participation in the teaching activities of UT Faculty of Science and Technology and supervising of the students.

Required qualifications
PhD in physics or an equivalent qualification.
Required experience
  • Experience in the field of electrical and spectral characterization of plasma sources
  • Experience in the application of the plasma sources for the treatment of liquids and surfaces.
  • Publishing of results, at least 7 papers of 1.1 category, cited in ISI Web of Knowledge in the last 5 years.
  • Experience in classroom teaching or supervision of practice works.
Required language skills
English skills sufficient for communication in his/her speciality. Teaching activities require Estonian language skills.
