Occupational Summary
The lab is seeking a Research Technician II (RT II) to join our team. The main responsibility of this person is to manage mouse colonies and perform a variety of duties related to mouse husbandry, as well as, general molecular/cellularbiology work.
Work Performed
This position will be primarily working with genetically modified and immune-compromised mice to identify pathways required for tumor growth and metastasis . Excellent record keeping and attention to detail are required. Duties will include:
maintain sufficient inventory of material, supplies and equipment for performance of duties; clean and maintain laboratory equipment.
Prior experience in animal handling is preferred but not required. This position will require some experience in data management and record keeping, with experiencei n Excel being important. Must be able to multitask.
