The Project Scientist will work on developing novel small molecule drug candidates for CNS malignancies, in particular glioblastoma. The candidate will assist in performing structural activity relationships (SAR) to inform of chemical modifications towards the synthesis of potent, brain penetrant small molecules against oncogenic drivers and/or processes. The Project Scientist will work with other members of the ATID to select new lead drug candidates for glioblastoma/CNS malignancies through analyzing and interpreting biological and biochemical data, in vivo PK/PD, as well as other ADME data from drug candidates. The Project Scientist will also assist in developing synthetic routes to optimize the synthesis of potential drug candidates.

• PhD in chemistry with specialized expertise in medicinal chemistry
• Extensive knowledge and expertise in the design and synthesis of molecules brain penetrating properties
• Knowledge and expertise in drug development for brain tumors, in particular glioblastoma
• Experience leading a team of chemists
