We are looking for a motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our team at Ozyegin University, to work on an exciting research project funded by the TÜBİTAK 1001 Program.
The successful candidate will work on the fabrication and characterization of micro/nano-scale passive photonic devices, with responsibilities including:
- Developing wet- and dry-etching processes for a novel material within a cleanroom environment.
- Designing passive photonic devices through rigorous electromagnetic simulations.
- Conducting material and imaging analysis to investigate processed samples.
- Disseminating research findings through high-impact journal publications and conference presentations.
This position is offered full time, fixed term for 13 months from March 2025.
About you
Our ideal candidates will have:
- completed a PhD in a relevant discipline;
- expertise in microfabrication processes;
- knowledge of chemistry and material characterization techniques, but a strong willingness to learn may be considered as a substitute.
