The Department of Law of the Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance of the University of Luxembourg is looking for a PhD candidate under a full contract to conduct research in EU law.
The doctoral researcher will be working under the supervision of Professor Herwig Hofmann. The doctoral researcher’s main task will be to prepare a doctoral thesis in field of EU law concerning the single market and a modern regulatory framework oriented toward resilience and regeneration. The thesis work will be undertaken at the University of Luxembourg. It is also possible to be jointly-supervised with another university. The PhD will be conducted in the context of the Doctoral Training Unit GREITMA (https://www.uni.lu/research-en/research-projects/greitma/). The doctoral candidate will benefit from specific PhD training but will also contribute to the teaching of classes ranging from one to three hours per week, of small group teachings and tutorials.
