The Department of Sociology is one of the biggest departments at the Faculty of Social Sciences at Stockholm University. It contains the Stockholm University Demography Unit (SUDA).

Project description

The position will be associated with research on labor market dynamics, poverty, and segregation among second generation immigrants in Sweden.

Main responsibilities

The position involves research mainly based on Swedish register data.

Qualification requirements

Researchers are appointed primarily for purposes of research and must hold a Swedish doctoral degree or an equivalent degree from another country.

Assessment criteria

In the appointment process, special attention will be given to research skills and the applicant’s previous publications records in relation to this project.

The applicant should have solid experience with quantitative research and specific experience with longitudinal data.

Terms of employment

The position involves full-time employment for one year with the possibility of extension. Start date is in January 2022 or as per agreement.
