Cell Culture Research (80–100 %)

Your asks:
We are looking for a scientific associate in the area of molecular toxicology at the Institute of Chemistry and Bioanalytics. The main areas of responsibility will be to drive a project supporting the implementation of state-of-the-art, advanced mammalian cell culture systems for the investigation of liver toxicity in vitro. Additional activities in support of related projects as well as interaction with junior members of the group and students will also be part of the activities. The position is initially limited to 1 year.

your profile:
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor, master or PhD degree and should have ample experience in mammalian cell culture, flow cytometry and immunofluorescence / confocal microscopy. He/She is a strong team player and willing to actively support the colleagues working on other projects. Proficiency in performing standard cell-based assays (cytotoxicity, qPCR, ELISA) and willingness to develop and implement new assays would be an asset. Good communication and reporting skills are mandatory. Fluency in English (oral and written) is a must, German and/or French an advantage.
