Overview

About the Role

To make significant contributions to the intellectual life of the Centre and research field of Energy and Climate Law. They will lead their research group by example, providing direction that will enable its success, deliver high quality teaching, which enhances student experience, as well as contributing as a senior academic to the wider achievements of the Centre and Institution.

About You

You will have a significant track record of quality research in the field of Energy and Climate Law at a national and international level, including publications in internationally renowned journals, and significant experience of developing research proposals and securing external research funding. You will have experience of managing research staff or teams, including staff development and the successful supervision and management of PhD students to completion, and have clear and ambitious plans for your future research.

About the School

CCLS is international in its research and teaching. Our full-time staff come from all over the world, and, along with support from practitioners, judges and regulators, teach 1200 graduate students from some 80 countries.

CCLS offers more than 200 courses on all aspects of commercial law, including arbitration, banking, finance, intellectual property, international trade, media, communications, shipping, insurance, regulation, ethics, and tax.

The post is based at the Lincoln’s Inn Fields in London. It is full time, permanent appointment, with an expected start date of September 2022. The starting salary inclusive of London Allowance will be in the range of:

  • £56,678 - £63,351 at Senior Lecturer
  • Negotiable from £69,417 at Professorial level
