The School of Medicine at UCC seeks a Senior Lecturer in Palliative Care to:
Lead the MSc Palliative Care programme, in collaboration with Marymount University Hospital & Hospice
Contribute to undergraduate palliative care education
Engage in clinical research and supervision
Apply for research grant funding aligned with UCC priorities
Undertake academic duties within the Department, School, and College
Leadership of MSc Palliative Care programme
Teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
Research, supervision, and publication in palliative care
Academic administration and service
PhD or equivalent in Palliative Care, Medicine, Nursing, or a related field
Leadership experience in academic programmes preferred
Experience in teaching, research, and supervision
Garda vetting or international police clearance may be required

Senior Lecturer Scale:
€83,910 – €118,893 (Scale B)
€81,033 – €112,948 (Scale A)
Placement based on public sector pay policy
