Position Overview

UCC seeks a Senior Lecturer in Human Nutrition & Dietetics to contribute to the postgraduate programme in Human Nutrition and Dietetics, delivering high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment, while inspiring future dietetics professionals.

The appointee will also:

Be an established research scientist with international reputation
Have an excellent publication record
Support the development of a world-class collaborative postgraduate research programme in dietetics
Foster collaboration within the UCC research community
Position UCC as an international leader in dietetics education, training, and research

Candidate Profile

Required experience and qualifications:

Extensive experience at clinical and academic levels in human nutrition and dietetics
Proven ability to deliver high-quality teaching and assessment
Strong research record and potential for international collaboration

Desirable attributes:

Leadership in programme development
Track record of interdisciplinary collaboration
Ability to mentor students and junior researchers
