School of Social Work has educated students since 1947 and conducts research since 1984.
Focus areas: social problems, vulnerable groups, welfare policy, human services, and social work professions.
Programs offered at undergraduate, advanced, and research levels (~1,200 students).
Activities at both Lund and Helsingborg campuses.
Teaching, supervision, and examination at basic and advanced levels, including master’s programs and independent courses
Course administration and pedagogical development
Collaboration within and between courses, and active participation in social work research
Teaching primarily in Swedish, but also in English
Mandatory:
Doctoral degree in social work or another social science subject
Research profile relevant to the position
Demonstrated teaching skills
Completion of at least 5 weeks of higher education teaching training or equivalent
Proficiency in Swedish/Scandinavian languages and English
Assessment criteria:
Scientific skills: publications of high quality, research progression, research leadership, ability to obtain funding, collaboration abilities
Pedagogical skills: documented quality, leadership in teaching, development, and implementation
Administrative and other relevant skills
Personal suitability for collaboration and contributing to the department’s development
