Teaching Assistant for the lecture "Introduction to Operations Research" in the fall semester 2022
4-8 hours per week, hourly basis

To support the preparation and execution of the lecture “Introduction to Operations Research” in the fall semester 2022 we are looking for a teaching assistant.

Your responsibilities

Proofreading of teaching material
Assisting the development of new exercises
Interacting with students via e-mail / forum posts
Assisting the grading of exams
Working on various ad-hoc tasks
Maintaining course material in Moodle/OLAT

Your profile

Strong quantitative background (math, physics, computer science, engineering, economics, etc.)
Basic knowledge of mathematical optimization and, in particular, linear programming
Highest level of reliability and careful style of working
Ability to study new material and find sources independently
Interest in teaching mathematical applications
