We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Nursing and Health Studies for the following post(s):

 

Teaching Assistant (Several Posts) (Ref: 23000B2)

 

Major Duties and Responsibilities

The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:

  • coordinating student clinical placement with local, national and overseas healthcare agencies;
  • providing assistance in the course planning, development and coordination in related disciplines;
  • engaging in academic and co-curricular activities;
  • providing support in reviewing coursework; and
  • participating in School / University activities and administration.

 

Candidates

Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence: 

  • a recognized bachelor’s degree in healthcare related discipline such as Nursing, Social Sciences, Health Sciences, Life Sciences and Health Technology/Informatics;
  • relevant teaching/professional experience in healthcare is preferable;
  • detail-minded with excellent organizational skills;
  • good communication skills and writing skills in English and Chinese (preferably including Putonghua); and
  • experience in coaching students and coordinate academic activities will be an advantage.

 

Terms and Conditions for Appointment
An attractive remuneration package, including basic salary, an end-of-contract gratuity, and a discretionary incentive payment, where applicable, will be offered to the right candidates.
