Job summary

The Graduate School is responsible for the delivery of over 400 professional skills workshops to both Master’s and Doctoral students (circa 8,000 students). Every year there are over 10,000 student attendances at Graduate School courses which comprise face-to-face workshops, residential courses, webinars, blended learning courses and online courses.

In addition, a suite of College-wide events provides opportunity for postgraduates to meet with peers and to facilitate multi-disciplinary interactions and community building.  The Graduate School also provides support and bespoke courses for cohorts of students and works closely with the Imperial College Union and the Graduate Students’ Union to improve the overall experience for postgraduates.

IMPACT OF COVID - The Graduate School’s provision is currently being delivered fully through distance and blended learning.  We may move to multi-mode delivery in the Autumn term, depending on the national and College position.

In addition, you will contribute towards the development and delivery of Cornerstone – the new supervisor support and development programme.

There will also be opportunity for you to contribute towards teaching on other programmes, as appropriate, and to engage with the School’s exciting student events programme.
