Main Tasks:

  • Independent research on the subject of human movement with a focus on movement control and coordination of movement, especially in the area of institute research priorities "Prevention and health over the lifespan" and "alpine sports"
  • Research-guided teaching in the field of sports science incl. Preparation and follow-up as well as examination work
  • Supervision of students including mentoring of bachelor theses; Collaboration in the supervision of diploma and master students
  • Collaboration on organizational and administrative tasks
  • further education

Required Qualification:

  • completed doctoral studies
  • Proven ability to independently write scientific papers and research proposals
  • Experience in the handling of relevant measurement methods (eg movement analysis, electromyography, electroencephalography, electrostimulation, ...)
  • good knowledge of relevant data analysis methods (eg main component analysis, machine learning, optimal control, ...) and the creation of self-written evaluation software; very good command of Matlab ™ software
  • very good knowledge of English
  • Proven very good teaching skills
