University assistant ("Prae Doc") at the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry

We are looking for a Prae Doc in Synthetic Chemistry for our dedicated team. 

Duration of the contract: 4 years 

Employment: 30 hours/week. 
Classification according to collective agreement: §48 VwGr. B1 Basic level (praedoc) In addition, creditable work experience can determine the classification and thus the remuneration.

Their tasks:
The field of work of the successful candidate includes the development of metallopeptides with biological activity from antimicrobial to anticancer properties. Furthermore, the independent holding of courses in the extent of collective agreements provisions is another area of responsibility. Collaboration in research, teaching and administration: - Participation in research projects / in scientific studies - Participation in publications / scientific articles / Lecture activity - Conclusion of a dissertation agreement within 12-18 Months are expected - student support - participation in the organization of meetings, conferences, symposia - participation in the institute, teaching and research administration. 

Your profile:
Diploma or Master's degree in Chemistry, preferably Synthetic Chemistry or equivalent qualification. The successful candidate should be an enthusiastic, highly motivated and committed employee who likes to work in a team. 

Experience in the field of synthetic organometallic chemistry and preferred with the synthesis of peptides. Experience in teaching and knowledge of university procedures and structures, as well as previous experience with scientific work and ideally international experience are desired. Application documents: Letter of motivation stating the research interests; academic curriculum vitae; Publication list, evidence of teaching experience (if available); Diplomas.
