To expand our team, we are appointing two
university professors (m/f/x) for Artistic Research
from one or several areas:
liberal arts. music. media

(Appointment procedure in accordance with Section 99 of the
University Act, restricted to four years)

The Mozarteum University Salzburg is planning the systematic
development and strengthening of artistic research in research and
teaching. The introduction of a doctoral course is planned for the
academic year 2021/22.

Requirements for the positions are:

• an excellent international artistic career,
• an appropriate degree from an Austrian university or one of similar
standard from an overseas institution, or an equivalent artistic aptitude,
• excellent pedagogical and didactical ability appropriate to the position.

In addition, the Mozarteum University Salzburg expects willingness

• to participate actively in the development of the teaching concept
and in the artistic life of the university,
• to contribute to the university committees and also assume
management tasks where necessary,
• to choose the Salzburg area as a centre of life,
• to work cooperatively in a team,
• to commit to and become involved in questions of equality
and gender studies.

Remuneration is in accordance with the collective agreement for the
employees of the university in Group A1 and is set at the basic level of
min. € 5,245.60 gross/month (100%). This corresponds to an annual
gross salary of € 73,438.40 (14 monthly payments). Both the salary and
all other contractual details can be the object of employment contract

Travel and subsistence costs incurred in connection with the appointment procedure will not be reimbursed.
The Mozarteum University Salzburg endeavours to increase the
